Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Clerk/Facilities & Warehouse Support
Client: Sport Vehicle Manufacturing Company
Duration: 1 year + potential for extension
Location: Medina, MN 55340
Shift: 1st Shift - M-F, 8:30am-5pm

Top 3 Requirements:

Preferred Background:
  • Experience and/or ability to obtain forklift and reach truck certification
  • Experience with power sports equipment

Job summary:
Responsible for supporting light maintenance, repair, facility condition, and warehousing tasks at the Client Medina, MN facility. Provide support to the Client lead warehouse/facilities support position and Client facilities manager.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Perform light maintenance activities (snow removal, cleaning, mechanical aptitude, etc.)
  • Maintain orderly appearance of warehouse, fleet storage, and trailer storage
  • Coordinate shipping & receiving for promotional product shows and displays, including loading and unloading from semi-trailers
  • Respond to various department requests, such as:
    • Pulling product/supplies from storage and returning
    • Magazine & Promotional product photo shoots
    • Executive product rides
    • Medina special events, product displays, lobby
    • Conference room, meeting, and event setup
  • Handle mail and package delivery
  • Conduct Fire/Life Safety equipment compliance checks
  • Perform biannual maintenance checks and service on all water closets and urinals, including automated flushing devices
  • Lead and provide work direction to service contractors as directed by Client facilities manager
  • Perform special projects, maintenance, or other duties as assigned
  • Work in a safe and healthy manner, strictly following all safety rules and regulations
  • Demonstrate and maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm with an ethical balance

Minimum education:
  • High school diploma required; higher education preferred

Working knowledge & demonstrated competencies in:
  • Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams)

Core skills & abilities:
  • Comfortable working in both a warehouse and office environment
  • Maintain a neat, clean, and orderly work area
  • Initiative, independence, and sense of urgency, team player
  • Quality and customer focused
  • Ability to work with all levels of employees, external contractors, and regulatory authorities
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and be on feet for 4+ hours at a time
  • Must work on ladders, lifts, and/or overhead equipment

  • Ability to obtain forklift and reach truck certification

  • Experience loading/securing and unloading power sports equipment on/off utility trailers preferred, but not required
