What are Storage Managers With Housing?

Storage Managers With Housing are professionals who oversee the daily operations of storage facilities, such as self-storage units, while also receiving on-site housing as part of their compensation. Their responsibilities typically include renting units, handling customer inquiries, collecting payments, maintaining facility security, and performing basic upkeep. The housing benefit allows managers to live on the property, providing added security and convenience for both the facility and its customers. This arrangement is common in the self-storage industry, especially in locations that require 24/7 on-site supervision.

How much does a 100 unit storage unit make?

A storage manager overseeing a 100-unit storage facility typically earns a salary that depends on location, experience, and facility size, often ranging from $40,000 to $70,000 annually. Revenue generated from the units depends on rental rates, occupancy levels, and operational costs, with monthly income varying accordingly. Effective management skills and maintenance can influence profitability and income potential in this role.

Successful managers typically establish structured routines, communicate availability to tenants and staff, and leverage support from their company to maintain a healthy balance. Additionally, familiarity with property maintenance and customer service is crucial, as they often handle both facility operations and tenant relations.
