We sell our products through wholesale distribution across the United States and Canada for use on properties with onsite wastewater treatment systems. GENERAL POSITION SMMARY:The Project Manager/Estimator is a technical leader responsible for the end-to-end delivery of engineered systems projects, from initial cost modeling and proposal development through manufacturing, commissioning, and project closeout. This role serves as the "hub" for engineered systems, converting vision to reality. This role requires advanced proficiency in cost estimation, project leading and controls, technical documentation, and cross-functional leadership within a manufacturing environment. This position will work collaboratively with sales, service, manufacturing and others to develop quotes, submittals, installation guidance, and maintenance documentation. The Project Manager/Estimator ensures projects are executed to specifications, on schedule, and within budget, while proactively managing risks and driving continuous improvement all this while communicating and keeping the internal and external teams informed. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Safety/CultureContinuously maintain Orenco management's safety, cultural, and professional standards.Promote, encourage, and reinforce a positive safety culture, safe practices, and a safe work environment to all employees.Key Responsibilities Leads the planning and execution of engineering projects, including schedules and budgets, through the manufacturing process.Develop quotes for all Engineered Systems collection and treatment system projects and maintain all supporting documentation in CRM and ERP systems.Review RFQs, bid packages and technical drawings from Systems Engineering to determine scope of work and ensure accuracy.Ensures all systems are delivered on time to job site and communicates with appropriate departments.Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives; successfully manages projects with no or minimal supervision. EDUCATION:Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field (or equivalent project management experience). KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:4+ years of relevant experience in project management, estimating, or engineering.Ability to interpret SolidWorks and CAD drawings.Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teamsAbility to manage multiple, concurrent projects.Must be willing and able to travel in the US and Internationally complying with current travel regulations and guidelines.Must be able to meet and maintain Orenco's approved driver criteria; a valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record, current insurance on personal vehicle, and meet company insurability requirements. TOOLS & EQUIPMENT:CellphonecomputerGeneral office equipmentVehicle WORKING CONDITIONS:Primarily office environment with occasional exposure to outside elements when traveling, conducting field work, or within the manufacturing areas.
