POSITION SUMMARY
Based out of our Byron Center, MI facility, the Stone Fabrication team fabricates quartz, granite, and other hard surface countertops. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
Stone Countertop Fabrication team is responsible for:
  • Job layout and optimization of materials
  • Properly measuring and cutting materials (includes the use of state-of-the-art Saw/Waterjet machines, CNC machines and polishers)
  • Building countertops to customer specifications
  • Quality inspection and staging of materials for shipment or installation.
  • Preparing and labeling countertops for shipment
  • Locating and running job programs on CNC machine
  • Processing customer orders in a timely manner ensuring excellent quality of all products.
  • Always maintaining safe work procedures.
  • Maintaining the organization, maintenance, and cleanliness of the work area as assigned by the Production Manager

This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance for uniform, protective footwear, and PPE.
WHO WE NEED:
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • Prior CNC Experience is a plus
  • Hilo operator's license (will train if needed)
  • Prior fabrication or construction experience desired
  • Ability to do physical labor including lifting of up to 100 lbs
  • Ability to stand for 8-10 hours/day
  • Ability to bend, twist, and stoop
