Custom Countertop Inc

Custom Countertop Inc is looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join our granite and stone fabrication team.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Create and optimize CNC programs for cutting granite, quartz, and other stone materials
  • Read and interpret drawings, templates, and work orders
  • Set up and operate CNC machinery as needed
  • Ensure accurate tool paths, efficient nesting, and high-quality cuts
  • Troubleshoot programming and machine issues
  • Maintain accurate digital files and production records
  • Work closely with the fabrication and installation teams to meet deadlines
  • Follow all shop safety procedures

Requirements:

  • Proven experience programming CNC machines (stone, wood, or metal experience considered)
  • Strong understanding of CAD/CAM software
  • Ability to read technical drawings and templates
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced shop environment
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with stone-specific software (AlphaCAM, SlabSmith, or similar)
  • Previous experience in a countertop or granite fabrication shop
  • Knowledge of different stone materials and tooling
