Job description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for programming CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, geometry, and mechanical systems to ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety and efficiency standards.

Duties

  • Develop and optimize CNC programs for various machining operations using CAD/CAM software.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to create accurate programs.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments, including calipers and coordinate measuring machines (CMM), to verify part dimensions and tolerances.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
  • Maintain equipment by performing regular inspections, cleaning, and minor repairs as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards throughout the programming process.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with a solid understanding of machining processes.
