Job description

NPW is seeking a highly organized and metrics driven Warehouse Associate to join our team. If you enjoy mentoring a team and helping to create processes to improve efficiencies, then this is a great opportunity for you.
The ideal candidate for this position will be initiative-taking and responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including but not limited to; shipping and receiving, loading and unloading product orders, stocking and storing warehouse inventory, and fulfilling purchase orders as necessary while ensuring accuracy & timeliness of all job functions.

NPW was founded in 1969 and has grown significantly through the successful completion of 30 acquisitions and organic endeavors.
Responsibilities:
No prior warehouse experience required
Maintain warehouse organization to avoid product error and safety mishaps
Receive and stock products in appropriate zones and locations
Use handheld Scanner and relevant software to maintain accurate shipments
Pull orders by identifying part numbers that are numeric and alpha-numeric
Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
Must be able to empty trash daily and take it to the dumpster on-premises
Additional duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager
Ability to understand and carry-out directions from supervisor
Use handheld Scanner and relevant software to maintain accurate shipments
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while meeting time-sensitive deadlines
Positive and professional attitude
Work independently with little to no supervision
Forklift Certification is a PLUS!
Physical Requirements:
Able to read, stand, walk; use hands and reach with arms; Bend, reach, lift, and climb ladders/steps; stand and walk for the duration of the shift
Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
Consistently lift/carry 10-20lbs.
