Job description

Job Title: Calypso Business Analyst-Single stock option

Location: Atlanta, GA (3-4 days onsite)/ REMOTE

Duration: Contract Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

  • prior experience of working on Stock Options on CBOE/Nasdaq (US markets), WEX tool integration expert
  • Work closely with trading desks, operations, risk, and technology teams to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications, use cases, and workflow designs for Calypso enhancements.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current system capabilities and business requirements.

Calypso Functional Expertise

  • Configure and support Calypso modules related to Front Office, Risk, Back Office, Settlements, Messaging, and Accounting.
  • Support Calypso trade lifecycle workflows across multiple asset classes (e.g., derivatives, fixed income, Equity Derivatives).
  • Analyse Calypso workflows, product setups, event processing, and trade validation rules.
  • Assist in designing and testing Calypso interfaces using messaging frameworks (XML, MQ, FpML).

Project Execution

  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful delivery of enhancements and defect fixes.
  • Create functional test cases, execute UAT, and support business users during testing cycles.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain user stories in project management tools (e.g., Rally, Jira).
  • Drive system upgrades, production releases, and regression testing for Calypso platform enhancements.
