Job description

A Stock Control Clerk is responsible for monitoring, recording, and managing inventory levels to ensure that stock is available when needed and accurately accounted for.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily cycle count of electronic and non-electronic inventory
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and stock databases in company system.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
  • Count goods inward and compare against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Monitor stock levels and identify shortages or excess inventory.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and spot chd cks .
  • Update stock movements, transfers, and adjustments in inventory systems.
  • Prepare inventory reports for management.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales departments.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of stock items.
  • Follow company procedures for stock control and safety regulations.
