The Account Manager is to ensure that STN Digital provides world-class customer service, ensuring client satisfaction through every step of the relationship. The Account Manager has their hand in just about everything throughout the creative process, including social strategy, client presentations, upselling and more.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about the sports and entertainment landscape and who can garner strong and positive client relationships.
We're seeking a people person that has a passion for collaboration, organization and efficiency. Whether it's running client meetings, reviewing documentation with a fine-tooth comb, or organizing staff coverage for the Olympics - our Account Managers bring a positive, team-first approach to giving our clients everything they need.
This position may include travel for client meetings and onsite support.
The Role
The Account Manager executes social strategy across STN's client partnerships. You will be the communication liaison between STN and client. You will own the quality of the partnership and lead our internal teams through executing all contracted deliverables and services.
You'll work alongside the Project Management team and engage in cross-department collaboration and serve as the accounts team representative across our client portfolio.
This role is for someone who thrives in a public-speaking space, enjoys the company of others and isn't afraid of being respectfully honest.
What You'll Do
  1. Client Management
    1. Act as the liaison between clients and the STN team focusing on effective communication, fielding requests and partnering with other STN teams to fulfill the clients' needs and hit their goals.
    2. Have a deep understanding of the clients' social landscape and brand guidelines.
    3. Act as the client representation with the STN internal teams.
    4. Develop and review work orders and route creative through the internal and client review process.
    5. Consolidate and interpret client feedback for the creative team.
    6. Ensure all STN deliverables ladder up to client objectives and expectations.
    7. Maintain client-facing deliverables and internal docs including but not limited to call decks, budget trackers, chart notes and ideation docs.
    8. Support client renewal efforts, driving towards our 85%+ client retention targets.
    9. Identify expansion opportunities to grow existing client relationships.

    1. Develop project timelines with Project Managers to guarantee client deadlines are met.
    2. Task management and prioritization of client requests to ensure projects are delivered on time and at the highest quality.
    3. Look for opportunities to work more efficiently as a team and offer suggestions to the Account Supervisor as needed.

    1. Keep up to date on social best practices, creative trends, etc.
    2. Offer creative solutions to our clients based on industry best practices and their business goals.

  • Experienced in a creative, marketing or social-first agency with a history of managing major client accounts over multiple years
  • Have a deep understanding of the sports and entertainment landscape in order to deliver fresh and exciting ideas to clients
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing client accounts
  • Adept communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Skilled in the creative process and ability to provide creative direction and feedback

  • Compensation: CA-based salary range is $67,395 - $83,029 + benefits. Actual compensation is dependent on experience, location and job-related qualifications and may vary for positions outside of California.

Education & Experience
  • 1-3 years relevant experience as an Account Manager or comparable role at an agency
  • Has served as a trusted contact and resource for clients
  • Sports and entertainment knowledge preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Comfortable working remotely for 40 hours/week with the understanding that working within the sports and entertainment industry will require evening and/or weekend work.
  • Occasional travel for client meetings, internal meetings or client on-sites required.
