Job description

Overview
At STN Digital, we help the biggest brands in sports and entertainment win on social media. Our work powers global tentpole events, builds fanbases, launches shows, sells products and shapes culture for partners like Netflix, NFL, Hulu, Nike, NBA teams and more.
For over a decade, we've been the most trusted social-first agency in the industry. Our client relationships are the heartbeat of everything we do, and the Client Partnerships team plays a central role in making sure those partnerships are thriving, growing and built for the long haul.
The Client Partnerships Lead is a relationship-first role focused on driving growth within assigned client accounts. You will be a key player in renewing existing partnerships, identifying expansion opportunities and ensuring clients feel supported, valued and connected to STN's evolving capabilities. You'll also support new business efforts alongside senior team members, helping to grow STN's client base from the ground up.
We're looking for someone who genuinely loves people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and gets energized by building meaningful connections. If you're passionate about sports and entertainment and want to grow your career at the intersection of relationships and revenue, this role is for you.
This position includes travel for client visits, events and quarterly in-person check-ins.
The Role
The Client Partnerships Lead supports the broader Client Partnerships team in retaining and growing assigned client accounts. You will focus on proactive relationship management, identifying and driving expansion opportunities and collaborating closely with the Account Management team to ensure a seamless, high-quality client experience.
You'll also support new business efforts as needed, participating in early-stage prospecting and introductory calls to help grow STN's client base in partnership with senior team members.
This role is for someone who is naturally curious, relationship-oriented and motivated by helping clients succeed. You communicate with warmth and confidence, stay ahead of your accounts and know how to identify the right moment to grow a partnership.
What You'll Do
Nurture & Deepen Client Relationships
  • Cultivate relationships within assigned client accounts, focusing on proactive engagement that builds trust and uncovers expansion opportunities
  • Lead discovery conversations with clients to identify evolving needs, uncover opportunities and inform how STN can best support their goals
  • Ensure in-person connection remains a core part of partnership success by prioritizing recurring face-to-face touchpoints across your account roster
  • Educate clients on STN's latest capabilities, updates and tailored solutions relevant to their needs
  • Develop and execute client gifting strategies that reinforce appreciation and deepen relationship quality
  • Attend events and manage recurring visits for assigned clients, representing STN as a trusted and enthusiastic partner
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitive activity and client priorities.

Drive Renewals & Grow Assigned Accounts
  • Work closely with the Account Management team to strategize renewals, with a focus on identifying growth potential within assigned client scopes
  • Lead proposal development for renewal and upsell opportunities, crafting compelling, client-centered pitches in collaboration with senior team members
  • Support onboarding for new client contracts, noting key insights from the sales process and setting up the execution team for success
  • Develop quarterly lookback presentations that highlight sales actuals, outline future strategies and provide projections, using HubSpot as the primary data source
  • Support the development of sales collateral such as capabilities presentations and informational materials to reinforce client education and relationship depth

Support New Business Efforts
  • Participate in sourcing leads, initiating intro calls and assisting in initial negotiations alongside senior team members
  • Help qualify new opportunities and provide relevant context ahead of key conversations
  • Represent STN with energy and authenticity in early-stage prospecting conversations, building rapport from the very first touch

Manage Pipeline & Internal Reporting
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in HubSpot, tracking pipeline changes, status updates and ensuring goal alignment on assigned accounts
  • Monitor and report on progress toward revenue targets within assigned accounts, collaborating with internal teams to support financial goals
  • Contribute to pipeline health by keeping all activity and forecasting current and clearly documented

Who You Are
  • A natural relationship builder who thrives on genuine human connection and client engagement
  • Motivated by growth; you see renewal conversations as opportunities, not obligations
  • Strong communicator who can present technical and financial information in a client-friendly, approachable way
  • Collaborative by nature, with an ability to work seamlessly across internal teams
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines simultaneously
  • Adaptable and energized by a fast-paced, ever-evolving industry
  • Passionate about sports and live entertainment (strongly preferred)
  • Comfortable representing a brand with confidence in both virtual and in-person settings

What Success Looks Like
  • Assigned accounts renew and expand year over year
  • Clients consistently feel educated, appreciated and supported throughout the partnership
  • Upsell and growth opportunities are identified proactively and acted on in collaboration with the broader team
  • HubSpot data is accurate, current and reflective of a healthy, well-managed pipeline
  • New business efforts are supported with energy, preparation and a strong first impression
  • Quarterly presentations reflect thoughtful strategy and a clear understanding of client goals
  • Pipeline remains well-maintained, healthy and predictable, with a win rate that reflects strong relationship-building and smart qualification

Details

  • Reports to: Associate Director, Client Success
  • Type: Full-Time
  • Compensation: CA-based salary is $82,100 - $102,200 + sales incentives program. Actual compensation is dependent on experience, location and job-related qualifications and may vary for positions outside of California.

  • Ability to create compelling presentations and support senior team members in delivering pitches
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced and evolving industry
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent client service
