The Stibo STEP Technical Lead will serve as the primary technical owner of the Stibo Product Information Management and Master Data Management Platform at ABC Supply. This role is responsible for design configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of the Stibo environment to ensure alignment with evolving business requirements
This role will lead the technical aspects for workflow development, new domain implementation, integrations, data intake processes, and application performance optimization. This role will be strategic as we expand from our current product platform to incorporate other master data domains such as location, customer, and supplier.
Key Responsibilities:
Platform Ownership and Configuration:
  • Serve as the Primary technical application owner for the Stibo STEP platform.
  • Design configure and maintain workflows data models, attributes, hierarchies, business rules.
  • Implement new master data domains while enhancing and supporting what is already within Stibo.
  • Ensure alignment of system configuration with governance standards and business policies.
  • Maintain Production and Non-Production environments and oversee deployments.

Architecture and Integration:
  • Partner with our Solution Architecture team to design and implement the MDM within Stibo.
  • Partner with Integration teams on outbound and inbound data flows.
  • Design and support APIs and Batch Integrations.
  • Oversee mass intake process capabilities for bringing in new domains, as well as any acquisitions, and bulk data needs.
  • Ensure downstream systems have the data integrity required when they consume MDM Data.

Development and Optimization:
  • Develop/script and maintain any business rules or logic within the system
  • Perform code and performance reviews to ensure best practices and efficiency
  • Identify ways to increase automation and reduce manual data handling

Operational support:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues
  • Monitor data quality, performance and system health
  • Support any releases upgrades and patches so that we can stay current in the software version
  • Consult on security roles, accesses and permissions

Governance:
  • Support Data quality rule enforcement and setup
  • Train end users and technical peers on system capabilities, mentoring junior resources
  • Develop documentation
  • Partner with and mentor others on the team and the business to define and solution technical requirements

Essential Skills:
  • College Degree in IT, Computer Science or related field, preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of working with Stibo STEP tool
  • Hands-on experience configuring workflows attributes, hierarchies, and business rules within the MDM
  • Experience with:
    • JavaScript (Stibo's scripting)
    • Rest APIs
    • Data Integration (ETL, Middleware)
    • Data File formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, XSD
  • Understanding of Data Modeling, Data Quality, Data Profiling
  • Ability to troubleshoot and optimize complex systems, evaluate and recommend use of new software features.
  • Communication, documentation and strategic thinking skills
  • Experience with Bulk load process and templates to improve automation.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience in Multi-domain MDM solutions and implementing domains within MDM solutions
  • Familiarity with ERP solutions
  • Experience with Cloud systems infrastructure and security frameworks
  • Experience with data quality frameworks and governance councils
  • Strong communicator who can effectively communicate technical ideas with business users
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and consistency.
  • Process oriented and continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to collaborate on and recommend MDM roadmap and enhancements that would align with business strategy
  • Structured thinker with strong documentation discipline.
