Essential Tasks - In this job, you will:
  • Prepare new equipment for inventory following established procedures and guidance from the department Lead
  • Apply barcodes to new inventory, ensuring accurate verification of make, model, and serial numbers
  • Assist with unloading, sorting, packing, and redistributing items to designated branches
  • Perform general assembly and packaging of equipment as needed
  • Load equipment into cases and stencil cases with appropriate codes and descriptions
  • Prepare finished products (e.g., pallets, straps, shrink wrap) for shipment to branches
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Support other departments as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

General Skills and Abilities - In this job you will demonstrate:
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate verification of inventory
  • Ability to communicate and work with a team to meet production goals
  • Comfortability working in a warehouse environment, which can be busy and noisy (such as forklift horns and case movement)
  • Comfortability with Power Tools and equipment (such as Drill, wrench, hammer, mallet, box cutter, Steel Strap Cutter, Paper Cutter, Laminator, Heat Gun, Engraver, Stencil Roller, Stencil Remover, Adhesive Spray, Stencil Ink, and Paint Brush for removing stencils)
  • Comfortability with wearing Personal Protective Equipment when in designated areas (such as safety goggles, masks, safety vests, and gloves)
  • Ability to complete the following activities: standing, sitting, bending, stooping, crouching, walking, grasping, pushing, pulling
  • Ability to lift up to roughly 25 lbs (with support)

Education/Knowledge - In this job you need to have:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
