Job description

The Full Time STEM Teacher position is a 40 hour per week position that combines offsite STEM teaching at satellite sites with on campus teaching at Full STEAM Ahead Naples and/or Full STEAM Ahead Ft Myers. Responsibilities include:
  • Teach STEM lessons with pre-made lessons plans provided by Full STEAM Ahead
  • Create new lesson plans and teach those plans
  • Track student progress and present the information to parents
  • Reinforce classroom rules and Full STEAM Ahead expectations
  • Manage students inside and outside the classroom, such as during lunch breaks and "Free Explore"
  • Teach STEAM classes offsite at a partner school
  • Communicate with partner schools and be a liaison between STEAM and partner schools
  • Drive a STEAM van (15 passenger van) to pick up students from specified schools
  • Work with the "STEAM Culture" elements to promote student behavior and growth
  • Assist in end of day cleanup and organization
  • Assist with student check in/out
  • Maintain STEM classroom equipment and inventory
  • Teach during Mini Camps (School Break Camps)
  • Teach during Summer Camps
Required Skills:
