## Sr. Project Manager - Primoris Heavy Civil - Laredo, TXApplylocations: Texastime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR101125**Job Overview:****JOB SUMMARY**Primoris Heavy Civil is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager/Area Manager for projects in Laredo, TX. This role is key in establishing Primoris Heavy Civil as a contractor of choice in the region and achieving success in the management of this regions financial targets. This role will be accountable for decisions on planning, scheduling, forecasting, analyzing and problem solving associated with the execution of various highway construction projects, inclusive of commercial and change management.**JOB DUTIES*** Accountable for ensuring all projects within the Laredo region are efficiently and profitably managed.* Responsible for attracting, retaining, and developing an engaged team of talented professionals providing them with clear direction and valuable feedback that improves their performance.* Accountable to establish, monitor, and maintain efficient and safe operating procedures for all work undertaken in the completion of projects in Laredo. Take appropriate and timely action on safety compliance and discipline issues.* Visibly champions the Company’s Safety in the Workplace programs, with a focus on achieving zero accidents/incidents.* Provide Vice President with the status/results of the regions operations at all stages of the Project review process.* Maintain positive communication with Clients and negotiate commercial terms as necessary to meet financial goals for the project.* Collaborate with other Senior Managers, Project Managers and Site Superintendents to prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and forecasts for workload, resources, and job cost.* Collaborate in creating Budgets, cost control, profit, and loss mitigation of each Laredo project.* Collaborate with other Senior Managers, Project Managers, Site Superintendents and Sub-Contractors on an on-going basis to review Project status, analyze deviations, and determine changes/adjustments required to the Project (workload schedule and resource requirements) to ensure meeting or exceeding deliverables.* Assist in the pursuit process (estimating) for future jobs for the Laredo region.* Collaborate with Operations and Accounting to ensure accurate data is processed during the inventory process and meet all inventory required deliverables with the time parameters required.* Establish and maintain strong relationships characterized by open, clear communications with project personnel.**QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS*** Minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in all aspects of management of large heavy/civil highway construction projects with a proven track record of successful outcome.* Undergraduate degree in construction engineering, construction management or a related degree.* Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.* New Hire Orientation Quiz* Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the workplace.* Job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.).* Safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.).**Company Overview:**Primoris Heavy Civil provides highway, port, airfield, rail and marine (intermodal transportation) construction services to private commercial and industrial clients as well as governmental entities such as the Department of Transportation and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
