Job description

🏗️ Structural Steel Project Manager

Every successful steel project starts with a planm but it takes the right Project Manager to carry it from drawings and budgets through fabrication, erection and final closeout.

I am supporting an established structural-steel fabricator and erector that is expanding its operations across Texas. With a growing pipeline of commercial projects, the business is looking for experienced Project Managers who can take genuine ownership of project delivery.

You will be responsible for:

📐 Reviewing structural, shop and erection drawings

🏭 Coordinating detailing and fabrication

🏗️ Managing field erection activities

📅 Maintaining schedules and project milestones

💰 Controlling budgets and financial performance

📝 Preparing and negotiating change orders

🤝 Managing vendors, subcontractors and client relationships

✅ Delivering projects safely, profitably and on time

This is not a general construction Project Manager position. Candidates must have direct experience managing structural-steel fabrication and/or erection projects.

Experience with Tekla, FabSuite, AISC standards and commercial steel construction would be highly advantageous.

The company offers comprehensive benefits, professional development and a clear route into Senior Project Manager and divisional leadership positions. 📈

🚫 Relocation assistance is not available. Candidates must already live within commuting distance of the relevant location.
