Job description

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Safe operation of tractor/trailer
  • Secure cargo using straps, chains and other securing devices to prevent shifting during transit
  • Complete shipping and delivery paperwork accurately and on time
  • Compliance with all regulations
  • Report any accidents, incidents, or safety violations promptly
  • Maintain communication with supervisor, sales and customers as required
  • Equipment maintenance, required pre and post trip inspections
  • Maintain all daily records, HOS, DVIR, proof of deliveries and fuel receipts

Physical & Work Requirements:
โ€ข Physically able to secure your loads with chains
โ€ข Physically able to protect your load with tarps
โ€ข Some over-night (layovers) are expected
โ€ข Continuous communication with different departments and our transportation network
โ€ข Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, moderately stressful, constantly changing day-to-day work environment
Required Background, Competencies & Expertise
โ€ข Valid Commercial Driver's License with appropriate endorsements
โ€ข Valid Medical Card
โ€ข Excellent driving record
โ€ข Familiarity with relevant transportation regulations and safety standard
โ€ข Physical fitness and the ability to lift, carry and secure heavy and oversized loads
โ€ข Knowledge of securing different types of cargo, including oversized loads
โ€ข Strong communication and interpersonal skills

โ€ข Responsibility
Preferred Background, Competencies & Expertise:
โ€ข 2 yrs of driving experience
โ€ข 1 yr of flatbed experience.
Paid Weekly:
  • Top earners can make $90,000+
  • The minimum weekly pay is $1,478 which requires you to check-in and check-out with your Supervisor daily for any additional work assignments before leaving.
