Job description

Indiana Tube Corporation (ITC) is a manufacturer of low carbon mechanical grade welded steel tubing used for diverse industries worldwide. ITC products are used in a variety of fluid & gas carrying applications for Automotive, Large Truck, Heavy Equipment, Oil & Gas, Agriculture, Heating & Air, and Refrigeration. Additionally, ITC manufactures non-fluid carrying tube for applications such as heating elements, welding rods, tubular handles, seating components, sun visor rods, and filtration products. ITC Manufactures a wide range of tube diameter and wall thickness in both Standard and Metric sizes.
ITC has openings in our Maintenance Department for Maintenance Tech. We offer great benefits, with starting pay at $31.14 - $40.48 per hour depending upon level and shift.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on production equipment and facility systems
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and restore operations quickly
  • Inspect machinery to identify potential issues and prevent downtime
  • Install, adjust, and maintain machinery, motors, conveyors, and related systems
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance

Minimum of 3-5 years manufacturing experience and passing Level C Mechanical and Electrical testing at Ivy Tech. You must be able to work on any of our three production shifts and be flexible to work overtime as needed; potential for daily overtime, Saturday, and/or Sunday.
You must have a high school education or GED equivalent. The 3-5 years experience must be in:
Welding (mig, tig, stick)
Electrical knowledge of and troubleshooting PLC and VFD equipment
Hydraulic and Pneumatic circuits
Pipefitting
Carpentry
Mechanical work
Forklift operation
