Machine Operator - Steel Plant
JOB SUMMARY:
Hog Slat, Inc. is seeking machine operators to join our steel fabrication team in Newton Grove. We’re looking for employees who not only take pride in the quality of their work but also enjoy and thrive in the fast-paced environment of a busy shop.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change.
  • Work from provided material to produce steel rods and welded mats
  • Verify conformance of work piece to specifications
  • Adhere to all safety procedures
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have the following experience/educational background:
  • We’re seeking operators with an understanding of touch screen automation
  • Experience preferred in manufacturing, but will train the right candidate
  • Stable work history required
  • Satisfactory reference check, drug screening and criminal background check required
  • Forklift experience
