Product Complianceoffers subject matter expertise related to Common Products (Commercial Auto, General Liability, Umbrella/Excess, Property, Inland Marine, Crime, Workers' Compensation and Cyber) in order to enhance the organization's ability to adapt to new market opportunities and changing risk environments.It also assists business units in developing and maintaining competitive insurance products, while ensuring that they meet regulatory compliance and state filing requirements. Product Compliance handles rate/rule/form filings for all P&C lines of business in all jurisdictions.

The Data Reporting Compliance team is looking for a Data Reporting Analyst to support our Worker's Compensation policy reporting. The person who applies for this position should have excellent analytical skills; have a high level of attention to detail; have strong planning and organizing skills and the ability to meet deadlines. This person should be a strong self-starter, balanced with a desire to achieve team goals.

To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core inoffice days are Tuesday-Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assists with accurate analysis of basic company or statistical plan changes and the preparation of statistical requirements for internal departments or external agencies.

    • Develops data processing system requests to maintain the accuracy of company systems and notify users throughout the company of changes to various statistical plans.

  • Analyzes data for validity and accuracy.

    • Analyzes statistical errors. Recommends and/or initiates action within well-defined objectives.

  • Maintains and updates databases, ensuring data is organized and accessible for reporting purposes.

  • Develops knowledge of all statistical manuals, statistical plans, coding guides, claims, underwriting, premium audit files, and other related reference materials related to statistical reporting.

  • Collaborate with various departments to understand their data reporting needs and deliver customized solutions.

  • Presents findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

  • Maintains updated knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and reporting.

    • Develops understanding of industry products/coverages and applies that knowledge to support business activity.

  • Develops and maintains documentation for data processes, workflows, reporting standards, and data dictionaries.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Liberal Arts or a related discipline or equivalent experience.

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of related experience, 3 to 5 years in Worker's Compensation is preferred.

  • Qualifications: Strong analytical and organizational skills. Knowledge of Proof of Coverage and Policy Error Reporting a plus.
