The Quality Technician is responsible for product inspection, testing, quality data analysis, and documentation to
ensure compliance with engineering and customer specifications. Responsibilities include interpreting
engineering drawings, maintaining work instructions and control plans, performing destructive and
non-destructive testing, supporting SPC activities, and partnering with production and engineering to improve
product quality and manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
● Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation to verify product
conformance.
● Perform in-process and final inspections, testing, and product validation throughout manufacturing.
● Conduct dimensional, mechanical, electrical, chemical, destructive, and non-destructive testing.
● Create, review, and maintain work instructions, control plans, inspection sheets, and quality documentation.
● Collect, analyze, and document quality data using Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods.
● Prepare quality reports, graphs, and charts to identify trends and deviations from standards.
● Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending process and quality improvements.
● Review and maintain compliance with quality assurance standards and procedures.
