Ionbond – The Surface Engineers™

Ionbond provides advanced coating solutions for applications in the aerospace, medical, food contact, automotive, decorative, tooling and fuel cells industries. We offer a broad range of hard, low-friction, wear-resistant coatings based on PVD, PACVD and CVD technologies.

What defines this job?

· Perform assigned functions, processes, and procedures that meet customer orders specifications, quality requirements, and production standards

· Assigned functions may include blasting, cleaning, stripping, fixturing, inspecting, and assisting machine operators and other departments as needed

· Load and unload customer products into machines (if assigned) while handling parts with care

· De-fixture batch loads after processing

· Carry out basic visual inspection on parts after processing

· Other Duties as assigned

What do we ask?

Previous experience in Manufacturing or other related field. (2+ years preferred.) Mechanical, Electrical + Troubleshooting experience a plus! Familiarity with manufacturing tools and machine operation/equipment. Strong critical thinking skills. Ability to communicate effectively. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Good dexterity skills, able to handle precision machined parts. Able to read instructions in English and read documents as small as 8-font size. Two shifts available, both working Monday through Friday from either 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Able to sit/stand during an 8-hour shift. Must be authorized to work in the US and pass a preplacement criminal background check and physical screening. *Applicants may start on contingent basis through staffing service. Full-Time, Regular hire date to be determined 90-180 days, based on production and performance.
