Job description

About the role:

Situated in the receiving warehouse you will represent the interests of the processes within the warehouse and the product care of items 

You will:

  • Quality check stock thoroughly and ensure if it is fit for purpose and have been recorded correctly, if not you will be required to report errors
  • Process damaged, used and faulty products with the focus on recovery aspect
  • Ensure fraudulent items have been logged on the system and raising this to the fraud team so they can investigate further 
  • Ensure that due care and attention is given to the detailed task of inspection and repacking of product.

About you: 

  • Be able to make objective decisions based on the information/facts given
  • Have a high level of attention to detail in all functions of the role
  • Able to work as part of a team or own initiative 

What is a Quality Control Inspector? 

This element of the role means that you will:

  • Represent the interest of the Product team based at Head Office, taking responsibility for deciding that goods delivered are acceptable and within tolerance for stock in all aspects of quality, appearance, packaging, labelling and that it compares to the approved samples and documentation
  • You will communicate any unsolved problems to the QA Manager for them to advise on action to be taken
