Job description

You will be the Manufacturing Engineering Staff - Level 4 for the C130J Production & Flight Line team which is responsible for designing and optimizing manufacturing processes across the assembly line, machine centers, and fabrication departments.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Manufacturing Engineering Staff - Level 4 you will be responsible for creating efficient build procedures, guiding continuousimprovement projects, and mentoring junior engineers.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Design manufacturing processes, layouts, and equipment installations to maximize efficiency and meet production requirements.

  • Develop operation sequences, tooling specifications, and inspection plans, integrating statistical process control where appropriate.

  • Evaluate machine and equipment performance, initiating corrective actions to sustain product quality and schedule.

  • Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to drive defectreduction, processimprovement, and correctiveaction initiatives.

  • Mentor entrylevel manufacturing engineers, providing handson guidance and fostering technical growth.
