Job Title: Continuous Quality Improvement Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a Continuous Quality Improvement Engineer to perform video time studies to baseline the material testing value stream (VS). This includes product testing activities from Raw Material Receipt to Product Release at the Georgia Campus, and, where necessary, at Finished Good testing sites.
The ideal candidate will map these value streams and identify improvement opportunities using Lean Six Sigma (LSS) and Demand Flow technologies. These improvements may require capital investment in new laboratory test equipment and the application of qualification and validation procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct video time studies to baseline testing VS.
- Map and analyze current processes across raw material to product release.
- Identify improvement opportunities using Lean Six Sigma and Demand Flow.
- Develop and lead improvement projects, including equipment investment.
- Perform statistical sampling and analysis to justify changes.
- Support Equipment Qualification (EQ) and Test Method Validation (TMV).
- Engage with cross-functional teams and manage engineering change orders.
- Generate documentation supporting validation and improvement efforts.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency with statistical tools (Minitab) and sampling strategies
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certified
- Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
- Training/certification in Demand Flow Technology
- Experience with Equipment Qualification and Test Method Validation
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP)
- Experience with Engineering Change Orders and Change Projects
