About the role
The Guestroom Attendant cleans guest rooms to exact standards; cleaning, dusting, and sanitizing all areas of the room and restocking amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, etc.
What you will do
• Remove dirty towels and sheets and replace with clean ones from the Linen Closet. Make bed.
• Clean, dust, and sanitize all areas of the Guest Room (bedroom, living room, dining room and bathroom).
• Vacuum carpet and cleans marble and tile areas.
• Remove room service trays, dishes and carts to service landings. Replace used cups, saucers, spoons and glasses from the Minibar.
• Remove garbage from bins in bedroom and bathroom.
• Submit all maintenance issues in guestrooms, Public Areas and Back of house areas to the Engineering department through designated work systems and bring them to the attention of the Housekeeping management.
• Add special touches to the guestrooms to enhance the guest experience (e.g. microfiber cloth, book marks, cable ties, etc.
• Restock used amenities such as shampoo, lotions, cotton balls, stationery, pens, coffee, tea, sugar, etc.
What you bring
• At least 1 years of housekeeping experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions. Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job; knowledge of HotSOS preferred/is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs.
