A State Veterans Home is a facility operated by individual U.S. states that provides nursing, domiciliary, or adult day care for veterans. These homes are partially funded by the federal government and are designed to offer long-term care, rehabilitation, and related health services to eligible veterans and sometimes their spouses or Gold Star parents. Each state sets its own eligibility requirements, but all aim to ensure that veterans receive the care and support they need in a respectful and supportive environment.
