Sr. Tax Analyst

Location: Troy, MI (On-site)

Direct Hire | Full Time

Compensation: $110,000 – $125,000/year

We are seeking an experienced Sr. Tax Analyst to join a fast-growing B2B company with a strong culture and global footprint. The Sr. Tax Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring tax compliance, supporting strategic financial operations, and driving process improvements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review quarterly and annual tax provisions under ASC 740, including footnote disclosures.
  • Support preparation and review of U.S. federal and state tax returns.
  • Manage and review fixed assets and related tax journal entries.
  • Assist with sales/use and property tax compliance in coordination with advisors.
  • Provide U.S. GAAP tax compliance support to non-U.S. teams.
  • Lead process improvement and automation initiatives within the tax function.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MST preferred.
  • 3–5 years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate tax.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. federal and state tax compliance and ASC 740.
  • Experience working with consultants and building processes from the ground up.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive with a solutions mindset.
  • Experience with partnership taxation.
  • Familiarity with U.S. international and foreign tax concepts.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience with OneStream and OneSource.
