Enjoy leading these 16 beds, state-of-the-art, inpatient psychiatric treatment facility in beautiful Fergus Falls, Minnesota! In this rural healthcare setting, you will work alongside highly professional and dynamic staff to provide treatment to Minnesotans with an array of behavioral health needs. This is a small hospital that prides itself on being community-based and providing treatment and programming within a person-centered framework. We routinely involve the patient, their family, and multiple community resources in treatment planning and coordination.

The interdisciplinary treatment team is robust and includes Clinical Director/staff psychiatrist, advanced practice registered nurses, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and rehabilitation therapists. As the Clinical Director, you will have the opportunity to treat patients directly and also coordinate with the various disciplines to formulate treatment interventions that are tailored to your patients’ specific needs. This hospital is one in a network of six Community Behavioral Health Hospitals (CBHH) located throughout the state, and with that you will enjoy collaboration with colleagues, work with your patients for an average of 30 days and help to transition care to a robust outpatient network of services.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Board eligible or board-certified psychiatrist

  • An active unrestricted State of Minnesota medical license, or ability to obtain a State of Minnesota medical license

Preferred Qualifications

  • Adult inpatient psychiatry experience

  • Leadership and supervisory experience

  • Interest in Severe and Persistent Mental Illnesses (SPMIs) Psychiatry
