Job description

Nurse Practitioner On Call (NPOC) is a community-based medical group delivering mobile, in-office, and telehealth care across Maryland. We are seeking compassionate and clinically strong Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP) to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care within the scope of practice in Maryland, in Accordance with Company policies and clinical standards. This role is ideal for clinicians who value flexibility, autonomy, and making a meaningful impact on patients.
Responsibilities
• Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Provide medication management (PMHNP) or medical management (FNP)
• Coordinate care with facility staff, families, and care teams
• Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation
• Follow all state, federal, and payer regulations
Compensation & Classification
  • Contractor
  • Fee-for-service compensation: New patient visits: $60
  • Follow-up visits: $50 (See 3-4 patients per hour = $150-$200/hour)
  • Required meetings/trainings paid hourly
  • Accurate timekeeping required
  • No guaranteed minimum hours or visits

Requirements
• Active Maryland RN & APRN/CRNP license
• Board Certification: FNP and PMHNP
• NPI number
• DEA & Maryland CDS (if prescribing)
• Malpractice insurance (minimum $1M/$3M)
• Ability to work across mobile, office, and telehealth settings
