Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Comptroller to join our team at GSR Group, LLC, an experienced Wingstop Franchisee. As a Comptroller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial activities and operations of our franchise. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, exceptional analytical skills, and a deep understanding of financial principles and practices. This position requires a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).

- Provide timely and accurate financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and variances from budget.

2. Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Develop and maintain comprehensive budgets and forecasts in collaboration with management and department heads.

- Monitor budget performance and provide proactive recommendations to optimize financial performance.

3. Cash Management:

- Manage cash flow to ensure liquidity and optimize investment opportunities.

- Oversee banking relationships and monitor banking activities, including reconciliations and fund transfers.

4. Internal Controls and Compliance:

- Establish and maintain robust internal control policies and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Conduct periodic internal audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
