Great Lakes Hyundai of Columbus is seeking a Title Clerk to join our growing team!


Job Summary: The Title Clerk processes new and used vehicle titles. The right candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to be a team player! Must Have dealership title experience.


Compensation: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, based off of experience


Responsibilities

  • Prepares tax and title documents
  • Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles
  • Verifies funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications
  • Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete
  • Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles
  • Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work
  • Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of month
  • Signs over titles for all wholesalers who have paid in full

Requirements

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience as an Automotive Title Clerk - Required
  • Strong understanding of DMV policies, title processing, and legal documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient with dealership DMS systems - CDK required
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Professional and courteous demeanor
