Description
Do you love youth sports? The City of Dublin is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our Jr. Golden State Basketball League as coaches, scorekeepers, and referees.
We're looking for volunteers to dedicate their time to help coach and teach the fundamental skills of basketball, along with important traits such as teamwork, responsibility, good sportsmanship, and hard work. No prior coaching experience is required, just enthusiasm and a commitment to making the season positive for our young athletes.
Commitment:
  • Coaches: 10 weekday practices and 8 Saturday game days
  • Scorekeepers & Referees: 8 Saturday game days

Minimum Age: 14+
Roles Available: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Referee, Scorekeeper
Fingerprinting: Required for volunteers 18 and older

In addition, the selection process may consist of written and/or oral components.
