Description
Yanmar Compact Equipment North America designs, manufactures, and supports a complete range of compact equipment - including compact track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders, and construction equipment - for markets such as construction, landscaping, utility, land management, and agriculture. Products are sold primarily through a third-party, independent dealer network.
The Sales Administration Supervisor leads the team and provides sales support to dealers and Business Development Managers for the division. The Sales Administrator Supervisor supports planning and provides critical information regarding order status, availability, production, financial and shipping status. Position can be located in Adairsville or Acworth, GA
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of sales administrators, providing guidance and support to ensure effective daily operations.
  • Oversee the processing of sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
  • Establish customer service KPIs to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and analyze KPI reports, offering insights to management to inform decision-making.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of processes and procedures aimed at enhancing the efficiency of ERP and CRM systems.
  • Facilitate effective communication between Business Development Managers, dealers, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to sales orders or accounts promptly.
  • Support the Commercial Team in organizing sales information for internal use and for dealers.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to ensure accurate billing, payment processing, and the management of sales rebates and programs.
  • Work with the SIOP team to support planning initiatives.
  • Train team members on processes, systems, and best practices to promote operational excellence.
  • In conjunction with supervising the team, manage sales territory responsibilities.

Requirements
Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent / Bachelor's degree or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in sales administration or similar customer service role, with at least 5 years of supervisory experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Epicor or similar ERP experience
• Salesforce or similar CRM experience
  • Knowledge of inventory processes
  • Knowledge and understanding finance company processes for credit approvals and increases
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and planning skills with a focus on details.
  • A self-starter with customer service skills.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
• Primarily a plant/office environment; ability to work 8+ hours per day and navigate all areas of the building and facility as needed.
• May occasionally lift and move up to 20 pounds in an office, customer, or similar setting; must remain aware of surroundings at all times.
