What we need:

The Talent Development Manager is a leading performer that is responsible for designing, managing, and executing talent development programs aimed at improving employee skills, leadership capabilities, and overall organizational effectiveness. This role collaborates closely with HR teams and business leaders to ensure talent initiatives align with business objectives, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth.

 

What you'll do:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive talent development programs focused on leadership, professional development, and skill enhancement.
  • Customize programs to address specific business needs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and future talent requirements.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to assess talent gaps and design development initiatives that address those gaps effectively.
  • Work closely with HR business partners, department heads, and executives to ensure alignment of talent development initiatives with business strategies.
  • Serve as a liaison between talent development and other HR functions, ensuring that initiatives such as performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement are integrated with development programs.
  • Maintain strong relationships with external vendors, trainers, and subject matter experts to bring innovative development solutions to the organization.
  • Manage the scheduling, resources, and delivery of training sessions, workshops, and coaching initiatives across various functions and departments.
  • Develop and monitor budgets for talent development programs, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Use data-driven insights to measure the effectiveness of talent programs, tracking metrics such as participation rates, employee feedback, and skill improvements.
  • Regularly review and update talent programs based on business needs and feedback, making adjustments to improve learning outcomes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership that highlight the impact of talent development programs and recommend future initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

What you have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.  
  • 6-8 years of job-related experience or equivalent education and/or experience.

  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field.
  • Recognized cross-functionally as an expert within one or two subject matter areas.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.

What else?

  • Temporary indirect reporting relationships may exist while working as Project lead. May be required to act in senior role, providing task related advice and direction to junior team members.
