Job description

Company: Initio Capital
Location: Remote / Global
Engagement Type: Independent Advisor / Consultant
Compensation: Performance-based (paid per engagement, upside-linked)

Apply here: https://app.initiocapital.com/onboarding/advisor

About Initio Capital

Initio Capital is a venture firm and venture studio built to help early-stage founders start, validate, and scale companies faster.

Unlike traditional VC firms, Initio combines:

  • Capital

  • Advisory talent

  • Proven operating systems

  • A global network of founders, operators, and investors

We work hands-on with startups at the idea, pre-seed, and early growth stages—supporting them across strategy, go-to-market, fundraising, operations, and execution.

To support this ecosystem, we are expanding our global network of Startup Advisors and Business Consultants.

About the Role

This is not a full-time job or employment role.

We are inviting experienced professionals to join Initio Capital as independent Startup Advisors / Business Consultants, working flexibly with early-stage founders across our platform.

Advisors are matched to startups based on expertise and availability and are compensated per engagement. You maintain full independence and control over your time.

This role is ideal for professionals who want to:

  • Leverage their experience with multiple startups

  • Increase income through advisory work

  • Operate flexibly without traditional employment constraints

What You’ll Do

Depending on your background and interests, you may:

  • Advise founders on business strategy, go-to-market, growth, or operations

  • Support startups with customer discovery, validation, and execution

  • Help founders refine positioning, pricing, and revenue strategy

  • Provide guidance on fundraising readiness and investor communication

  • Apply proven frameworks and systems to real startup challenges

  • Work with multiple companies across industries and stages

Engagements vary in scope and duration and are aligned with your expertise.

Who This Is For

We’re looking for experienced professionals such as:

  • Startup founders (current or former)

  • Business consultants or fractional operators

  • Growth, GTM, revenue, or product leaders

  • Operators with experience in scaling companies

  • Advisors who want ownership-style impact, not employment

You should have:

  • Strong execution experience

  • A practical, operator mindset

  • Comfort working with ambiguity and early-stage teams

  • Interest in flexible, performance-based advisory work

Why Join Initio Capital
  • Maximize Your Earnings: Paid per engagement with upside potential

  • Flexible & Remote: Work on your own schedule, from anywhere

  • High-Quality Deal Flow: Matched with vetted, high-potential startups

  • Leverage a Platform: Access Initio’s capital, systems, and network

  • Real Impact: Help founders build real companies—not slide decks
