Job Description
David Weekley Homes is seeking a detail-oriented Regional Starts and Compliance Specialist to support start proof accuracy and compliance across multiple markets.
This role partners closely with Regional and Local Purchasing Teams to manage job start processes, resolve issues, and ensure Preferred Partners are properly set up and compliant. The position also plays a key role in contract administration, insurance tracking, and coordination with Legal and Accounting teams to support timely approvals and uninterrupted operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Starts:
  • Run, review, and validate start proofs
  • Identify and resolve start proof issues in collaboration with Local Purchasing Teams
  • Post job starts accurately and in a timely manner

Compliance:
  • Review and track insurance documentation, follow up with third parties, and place Preferred Partners on hold when coverage is expired or missing
  • Partner with our Legal and Accounting Teams to resolve compliance issues
  • Maintain current contract documentation for each market
  • Store, manage, and ensure accuracy of signed Preferred Partner Agreements, Statements of Work, and related contract documents from Local Teams

Qualifications
  • Experience in purchasing, starts, permitting, or vendor management preferred
  • Strong professional communication skills with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and Preferred Partners
  • Proven ability to hold team members and partners accountable to policies and requirements
  • Working knowledge of insurance terminology preferred
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting deadlines and process accuracy
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Collaborative team player with an understanding of broader business processes
