Job description

Wayne Community Schools is currently seeking interested candidates to join our educational team as a paraprofessional for the 2026-27 school year. Starting pay is $15.70 per hour, with wage increases given for education and/or experience.

Experience is preferred but not required. The ability to lift up to 45 pounds and a valid driver’s license are required. A background check will be required prior to starting.


Applications will be accepted until positions are filled. General education and Special Education positions are available at all levels. WCS offers a variety of work options including full time (benefit eligible), 30 hours per week, and 15 hours per week.
