PreK - 2nd Grade Paraprofessional

Ogallala Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Para Professional to support student learning and classroom instruction for the 202627 academic year. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with students and a commitment to helping all learners succeed in a supportive and engaging environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and supporting daily activities
  • Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts
  • Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
  • Help maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assist with supervision duties, including hallways, lunch, and recess

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Commitment to student success and confidentiality
