Storopack is a global leader/specialist in developing and producing protective packaging and technical molded parts. We are looking to recruit a flexible and team-oriented Packaging Logistics Specialist for presenting Storopack products and services that meet the packaging needs of our customers in Chicago, Illinois. This position is available for an immediate start.

Packaging Logistics Specialist

YOUR SKILLS:

  • Very good knowledge of material flow, packaging and shipping.
  • MS Office applications and CRM (Customer Relationship Management) experience (desirable).
  • Self-motivated and team oriented.
  • Professional acumen.
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Good communication and negotiating skills.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs when required.
  • Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time when required.
  • Must be located in the Cincinnati or Chicago area.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for effectively presenting Storopack products and services that meet the needs of our customers, providing solutions to their automated packaging needs.
  • Assume full responsibility for his/her assigned territory, to identify sales opportunities for Storopack’s automated packaging solutions and to grow sales and margin beyond forecasted targets.
  • Perform independent market research and participate in marketing campaigns to promote Storopack solutions.
  • Accompany Storopack sales colleagues on customer visits to identify their needs.
  • Actively search for potential new clients.
  • Analyze customer’s requirements/priorities.
  • Collaborate with technical departments to create a first solution concept.
  • Create a bridge between technical and commercial teams including sales, engineering and the customer.
  • Present a solution and probability of success to the customer.
  • Negotiate an offer including technical, commercial and contractual aspects.
  • Manage relationships with Distributors and End-Users.
  • Serve as Project Coordinator during implementation.
  • Be proficient at conducting distributor sales meetings and end user presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Timely reporting of sales activity, monthly expense reports and updates in CRM-reporting pipeline activity.
