Responsibilities

  • Greets guests in a timely manner with a smile and a pleasant disposition.
  • Must be familiar with menu, preparation of drinks and food, and prices.
  • Uses suggestive selling techniques.
  • Takes guest’s order and accurately inputs it into the computer/register.
  • Explains the ingredients in the various beverages.
  • Carries on a friendly conversation with the guests as coffee is prepared.
  • Prepares for the next shift by filling the supplies and cleaning and sanitizing the workstation and equipment.
  • Works as a Barista making coffee, blended beverages, etc.
  • Works the cash register and maintains an accurate bank.
  • Maintains cleanliness of designated areas.
  • Adheres to all company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Completes assigned side work and any additional daily tasks.

Requirements

  • Previous cash handling experience is an asset.
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Previous Food & Beverage experience helpful.
  • Previous Starbucks experience an asset.
