Position Summary
Milwaukee Electronics is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Electronics Test Technician to join our manufacturing team.
In this role, you'll perform functional testing and basic troubleshooting of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) while ensuring products meet customer and quality requirements. Working under the guidance of experienced technicians and engineers, you'll help verify product performance, identify defects, and support the production of high-quality electronic assemblies.

What You’ll Do
- Perform functional testing on printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) and electronic subassemblies using automated and manual test equipment.
- Set up and operate commercial electronic test equipment.
- Follow detailed work instructions, test procedures, engineering documentation, and quality standards.
- Record test results accurately and report failures or abnormal conditions.
- Perform basic troubleshooting under supervision, including identifying damaged components, solder bridges, and visible workmanship issues.
- Assist with routine maintenance of test equipment, including cleaning probes and verifying calibration status.
- Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of test heads.
- Interpret manufacturing documentation to determine quality requirements.
- Enter testing and production data into company systems.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Work closely with technicians, engineers, quality personnel, and production teams to solve problems and improve processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Demonstrate dependable attendance, a positive attitude, and a strong commitment to teamwork.
This position is performed onsite, and regular attendance is an essential function of the role.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED and 6–12 months of related experience or training, or the demonstrated ability to pass our technical aptitude assessment.
- Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics or a related field is preferred.
- Basic understanding of electronics and printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs).
- Ability to follow written work instructions, diagrams, and technical documentation.
- Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Ability to interpret production data and basic performance graphs.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Electronics manufacturing experience
- Experience using electronic test equipment
- Experience testing PCBAs
- IPC-A-610 certification
- Technical education in electronics or electrical technology
