Patient Plus Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team in Woodbridge, Virginia. The physical therapist will work onsite at our rehabilitation facility located in the vibrant community of Woodbridge, Virginia. Our facility is well-equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and technology tailored for orthopedic care. We operate Monday through Friday, with a schedule designed to maintain work-life balance while meeting the needs of our patients.

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including detailed patient histories and specific assessments, which inform individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and collaboratively set goals with patients and their families, ensuring they are active participants in their recovery journey.
• Implement tailored treatment protocols based on assessment findings, adapting to each patient's evolving needs and conditions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and document any changes in patients' conditions that necessitate adjustments to treatment plans.
• Manage discharge planning processes, including comprehensive follow-up care documentation that reflects a clear understanding of each patient's progress and goals.
• Effectively maintain patient schedules while meeting productivity expectations, utilizing time management skills to ensure timely attendance and efficient workflow.
• Contribute to departmental goals and adhere to relevant regulatory and accreditation standards, embodying our commitment to quality care.
• Engage in continuing education and mentorship activities, supporting both personal professional growth and the development of future healthcare professionals as a clinical instructor.
• Promote an exceptional customer experience, ensuring that patients feel valued and have access to the care they need.

This role primarily focuses on patients undergoing rehabilitation for orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. As a Physical Therapist at Patient Plus Therapy, you will work with a diverse patient demographic, tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs and goals of each individual, thereby maximizing their recovery potential.

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two (2) years of hands-on clinical experience in an orthopedic setting.
• Current CPR certification.

While two years of experience in orthopedic therapy is a requirement, candidates with additional certifications, specialized training in manual therapy techniques, or experience with specific treatment modalities (such as dry needling or functional movement screening) will be considered favorably. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
