Join Our Team as a Shipping & Receiving Material Handler at Standard Iron!

The Shipping and Receiving Material Handler will facilitate safe and efficient loading, unloading, and movement of materials throughout our warehouse.
Pay Rate: $17 - $23 per hour
Schedule: Tuesday- Friday, 1st shift. 6am - 4:30pm
About the Role:
As a Shipping & Receiving Material Handler at Standard Iron, you’ll play a critical role in keeping our operations running smoothly. Here’s what you can expect:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Material Handling: Pull parts, hardware, and materials needed for job orders. Safely load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to keep stock levels reliable.
  • Shop Floor Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic upkeep for material handling equipment, helping to maintain its performance and longevity.
  • Order Fulfillment: Prepare materials for production or shipping in line with job orders and customer needs.
  • Team Support: Take on additional tasks as assigned to support the team and overall operations.
Requirements:
  • Positive Attitude & Work Ethic: We’re looking for a team player with a great attitude and a strong commitment to quality work.
  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling environment preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in managing inventory are essential.
  • Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
