Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to all safety and loss prevention protocols per Standard Farms' policies and procedures.

  • Anticipate vehicle maintenance issues such as fuel level, scheduled maintenance, and tire wear.

  • Assure the collection and remittance of cash in accordance with Standard Farms' policies and procedures as required.

  • Assist with the picking and packaging of products for orders prior to delivery.

  • Communicate with customers to determine pickup and delivery needs.

  • Contact supervisor directly to resolve delivery paperwork issues or discrepancies; take corrective actions as necessary.

  • Engage customers and clients with friendly, courteous, and effective communication.

  • Follow all applicable traffic laws and OH cannabis industry regulatory requirements.

  • Handle paperwork, such as receipts or delivery confirmation notices.

  • Keep vehicle and associated equipment clean and in good working order.

  • Learn, understand, and execute customer location-specific protocols regarding safety and security.

  • Load and unload cargo safely while protecting product integrity.

  • Maintain fluency in electronic and paper documents associated with product transport including manifests, packing slips, and invoices.

  • Promptly deliver all customer feedback to the management team including all project rejections.

  • Recognize and report potential efficiency issues in the supply chain/fulfillment process.

  • Report any incidents or delays encountered on the road to a supervisor as soon as possible.

  • Report serious mechanical problems to the supervisor or facility maintenance department.

  • Review electronic and paper documents for accuracy and compliance to state and local regulations.
