Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Department: NJ Branch
Reports To: Branch Manager
Job Type: Full-Time | Onsite | Hourly
Location: East Brunswick, NJ 08816
Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing various tasks to support the efficient operation of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distributing forklifts and related components. This role involves maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring a clean and safe work environment, and supporting the overall operations of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming forklifts and related components.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately for shipping.
  • Assist in loading and unloading delivery trucks
  • Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
  • Perform routine cleaning and cosmetic maintenance of forklifts, including washing equipment, applying touch-up paint to scratched or chipped areas, and ensuring all units are clean, well-maintained, and presentable prior to customer delivery.
  • Coordinate the Warehouse Manager and other team members to meet operational goals
  • Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciling discrepancies
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to warehouse operations.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • At least 1-2+ years of experience working within a warehouse environment
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Forklift certification required
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
