What You'll Do

You’ll have ownership of daily warehouse performance, from receiving and put-away through outbound shipping. You’ll lead the team, improve material flow, maintain inventory integrity, and ensure the warehouse is operating safely and efficiently.

  • Lead day-to-day warehouse operations across receiving, put-away, inventory movement, picking, packing, fulfillment, and outbound shipping.
  • Manage a high-volume outbound operation supporting both domestic and international shipments.
  • Develop, coach, and lead warehouse employees while establishing clear performance expectations and accountability.
  • Manage inventory integrity and improve inventory control procedures to maintain accurate and efficient material flow.
  • Improve the movement of raw materials throughout the warehouse and into manufacturing operations.
  • Manage the flow of finished goods from assembly through staging, load building, and outbound shipment.
  • Oversee outbound load building and establish safe, consistent load-building standards.
  • Monitor shipping floor performance and drive improvements in efficiency and on-time shipment execution.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures for inbound and outbound warehouse operations.
  • Optimize warehouse layout, space utilization, staging areas, and material flow to improve productivity.
  • Develop and monitor warehouse performance metrics, including cost, productivity, velocity, and on-time performance.
  • Lead Lean and continuous improvement initiatives focused on eliminating waste, improving workflow, and increasing operational efficiency.
  • Manage relationships with 3PL providers, vendors, transportation partners, and other external business partners.
  • Manage the sourcing and use of packing materials and capital equipment supporting receiving and outbound operations.
  • Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Service, and other teams to resolve operational challenges and support customer requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse by establishing and enforcing safety standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support hiring, training, performance management, coaching, employee development, and disciplinary processes for the warehouse team.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • 5–7 years of experience in warehouse, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supply chain performance management, warehousing, and/or managing 3PL relationships.
  • Proven experience leading warehouse employees and delivering measurable operational results.
  • Strong understanding of inbound receiving, inventory control, put-away, picking, packing, fulfillment, and outbound shipping.
  • Experience managing high-volume warehouse or distribution operations.
  • Advanced experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience applying Lean manufacturing and logistics principles to improve warehouse operations.
  • Strong coaching, team-building, facilitation, and leadership skills.
  • Experience developing and monitoring warehouse KPIs and using performance data to drive improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Project, and related business applications.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
