Job description

Summary of Role

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients on all staging installations, partnering closely with the sales team and VP of the market to ensure that all projects are a success.

Properly scope the design project

  • Conduct a design handoff meeting with the sales rep and client to ensure project scope and alignment.
  • Meet with the client to present any initial ideas; discuss and probe for any specifics the client may have regarding the design or installation.
  • Stay within budget for custom furniture and accessory purchases.
  • Create an installation road map.
  • Inform the scheduler of your needs, working within your reasonable deadline (negotiated between sales, the scheduling department, and the client).

Successfully execute design projects

  • Manage installation crew while en route to the project and on-site.
  • Complete the installation within the allotted time frame (typically 1 to 3 days.
  • Communicate your daily feedback and install requirements to sales and the scheduling department for each day prior to install or changes.

Record and photograph project inventory

  • Photograph your work, including all rooms and products.
  • Create a thorough and organized inventory list using the provided template and account for all installed items.
  • Create an invoice for the project, including hours spent on the project and images of the receipts associated with each expenditure, as related to the specific project.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Personally manage and execute the design project to the best to your ability.
  • Represent our Organization to the client with positivity and integrity.
  • Work within the guidelines as provided by the Operations Team.
  • Support the sale of Vesta Inventory from homes which have been staged.

Required Skills, Training, and Experience to Perform the Essential Functions:

  • Full understanding of Vesta’s online reservation system.
  • 3+ years in the interior design field.
  • Experience managing a home installation or construction crew ( preferred.
  • Experience staging luxury homes (5MM +) preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work with integrity, trust, and commitment; setting an example for others.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
  • Works well in collaborative settings.
  • Deadline-driven and organized; able to prioritize as needed to get the job done.
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Other Qualifications:

  • Experience on Google Suite is helpful, but not required.
