Our organization is redefining claims management across the auto and property space through a blend of AI innovation, proprietary technology, and expert-led services that deliver measurable results for insurers, fleets, rental, TPAs/MGAs, and adjacent industries.
Our US team combines automation, intelligence, and human expertise to simplify complex processes — accelerating cycle times, reducing costs, and improving outcomes across appraisal, repair, subrogation response, and auto/property estimating.
Our solutions help customers move beyond digital claims to a model that’s faster, smarter, and simpler — grounded in data accuracy, transparency, and customer experience.
As part of the Solvd Group, operating in 46+ countries, our mission is to drive results today while shaping the future of claims. From FNOL to final settlement, we connect technology and expertise to deliver precision, performance, and confidence at every stage.
Auto Estimator
Our Auto Estimators play a key role in supporting fleet clients and drivers by assessing vehicle damage and delivering accurate, timely repair estimates. In this role, you’ll review third-party estimates, ensure alignment with client guidelines, and partner closely with repair facilities and vendors to drive high-quality, cost-effective repair outcomes.
As a subject matter expert in collision repair, you’ll collaborate with internal teams, clients, and service partners to ensure a seamless, efficient process from initial assessment through repair completion. This position is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with attention to detail and thrives in a fast-paced environment where managing multiple claims and priorities is essential.

What you’ll do:

  • Review and write collision repair estimates in accordance with industry standards and client-specific guidelines.
  • Audit third-party estimates (adjusters, body shops, vendors) and recommend necessary revisions for accuracy and cost control.
  • Evaluate vehicle damage to identify related and unrelated damage and ensure appropriate repair scope.
  • Ensure all estimates meet quality assurance standards and align with contractual and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with repair facilities to negotiate, finalize, and approve repair estimates.
  • Monitor repair progress and support coordination between repair shops, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Manage rental timelines in alignment with repair duration and ensure proper setup and extensions as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of estimates, modifications, and claim activity within internal systems.
  • Analyze estimate data and contribute to reporting and process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve escalations related to estimate accuracy, repair quality, or vendor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with client workflows, guidelines, and service level expectations.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders via phone and email.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues quickly and enhance overall service delivery.
  • Meet productivity, quality, and turnaround time expectations.
  • Support team members and contribute to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

What we're looking for:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in auto appraising, collision repair, or auto claims.
  • I-CAR certification or willingness to acquire I-CAR certification required.
  • State adjuster license preferred.
  • Experience writing, reviewing, or auditing repair estimates required.
  • Familiarity with CCC or similar estimating platforms preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair processes, estimating practices, and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex estimates and make sound recommendations.
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and estimating software.

What we offer:

  • Hourly compensation between $31.00 - $35.00/hour based on experience.
  • Comprehensive benefits, including health, dental, vision insurance, and more.
  • 401(k) plan options
  • Paid time off, sick time, and paid holidays.
  • The opportunity to grow with a dynamic, innovative team in a startup-like culture.
