Schedule: Must be available to work during assigned employee shifts to support attendance, check-ins, and daily workforce coordination. Specific schedule will be discussed during the interview process.


Job Description

On Target Staffing is seeking a dependable and organized On-Site Staffing Coordinator to support operations at a major client location in Elkridge, MD.

The On-Site Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact between On Target Staffing, temporary associates, and the warehouse operations team. This position plays an important role in maintaining daily staffing needs, supporting employees, tracking attendance, and ensuring smooth communication between all parties.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main on-site point of contact between On Target Staffing, temporary employees, and warehouse leadership
  • Assist with employee check-in/check-out procedures and daily attendance tracking
  • Monitor daily headcount, employee attendance, and workforce performance
  • Communicate no-shows, late arrivals, replacements, attendance concerns, or other staffing updates in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with warehouse leadership regarding daily staffing needs and workforce changes
  • Review and address employee concerns, time clock discrepancies, and attendance-related issues
  • Support accurate timekeeping records for payroll and invoice verification
  • Track temporary employee performance and provide updates as needed
  • Coach and support employees to improve productivity, quality, attendance, and workplace success
  • Conduct new hire check-ins to help ensure a smooth onboarding experience
  • Assist with recruiting, staffing coordination, and employee placement needs
  • Ensure employees have required PPE, including safety vests, and follow site dress code and safety requirements
  • Collect, review, and assist with processing employee timesheets
  • Support end-of-assignment procedures when necessary
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and workplace procedures
  • Provide excellent customer service to both the client and employees
  • Complete administrative duties and assist with additional responsibilities as needed


Qualifications

  • Prior on-site coordination, staffing, warehouse operations, HR, or workforce management experience required
  • 1โ€“2 years of supervisory/team lead experience or 2โ€“4 years of customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
  • Ability to manage attendance, employee concerns, and daily workforce updates
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable communicating with employees and management professionally
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Basic math skills required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, professional, and able to remain calm under pressure
