About the Role

DailyPay is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive the development and implementation of programs, products, and services in R&D. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing initiatives with complex dependencies, risk management, stakeholder management, and building technical roadmaps. You will help drive the team toward our mission of building durable and reliable data informed processes within DailyPay, organizing and managing continuous improvement and automation initiatives and play a significant role in developing, driving and managing scalable, data-driven processes.

What You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Lead architecture, design, implementation and deployment of large-scale critical and complex financial applications, owning all aspects of solutions end-to-end, through full stack software development.

  • Partner closely with engineering leads, product managers, designers, and other teams to define program scope, requirements, and deliverables.

  • Establish clear and consistent communication channels. Provide regular updates on program status, progress, and blockers to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.

  • Proactively identify and manage cross-team dependencies, ensuring seamless integration and coordination.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks throughout the program lifecycle. Develop contingency plans and escalate issues as appropriate.

  • Continuously evaluate and improve program & portfolio management processes, leveraging Artificial intelligence (AI) to drive continuous improvement, automation initiatives, and efficiencies.

  • Build consensus among diverse stakeholders and drive alignment on program goals through clear communication, trust, and shared accountability.

  • Adapt messaging (technical depth, business impact, tone) for engineers, PMs, business stakeholders, and executives; lead and facilitate small to medium-sized program meetings with clear agendas, outcomes, and action owners.

What You Bring to DailyPay
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or a similar role within a software development environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies (Kanban), and modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, cloud-native applications).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges, a results-oriented mindset, and a commitment to delivering value to customers.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams without direct authority.

  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA,), collaboration platforms (e.g., Confluence), and version control systems (e.g., Git).
